Vessel Manager – Bulk Carrier

Based in KL, Malaysia)
Main Responsibilities
The Vessel Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient and environment conscious operation of the vessels assigned, typical 4 – 5 vessels.
To ensure vessels comply with all relevant rules & regulations and render support to ships as appropriate.
He shall further
– Provide support on matters related to technical operations as required.
– Travel to vessels for inspections and attendance as required.
Required Qualifications/Education/ Personality
– Technical Management/Maritime qualifications/First Class Marine Engineer/ Naval Architect, preferably with seagoing experience as Chief Engineer on Bulk Carriers Sailing/Handling or 1-2 years as Vessel Manager
– Good command of oral and written English.
– Basic computer knowledge & excellent communication skills.
– Good Team Leader, Assertive & Confident
