Full-Time System Support Engineer (Federal Territory/Kuala Lumpur)
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
– Install, maintain and support the proper functioning of the following hardware and related system software:
– Linux HPC systems and peripherals
– Networking equipment
– Storage Area Networks
– Monitor computing hardware, storage hardware and networking devices for the benefit of capacity planning as well as notify management of potential areas of concern
– Implement Linux High Performance Clusters onshore and offshore vessels
– Provide Linux and hardware Support to the AP region (remote offices and Offshore)
Qualifications:
– Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering; OR Demonstrated experience in Linux, Network and storage technology support roles
Experience, Skills and Knowledge Required:
– Minimum of 2 Years in a Systems Administration Support Role
– Linux Systems Administration
– Network Administration
– Storage Administration
– Hardware Maintenance
– Sun Grid Engine and cluster management tools
– Tivoli Storage Manager and GPFS desirable
– Good documentation and communication skills
