Job Description
CRRC Kuala Lumpur Maintenance Sdn Bhd (CKM) is the officially appointed maintenance provider for the Ministry of Transport and KTMB in Malaysia. Our key role is to implement EMU maintenance industry using CSR’s specialised rail transit equipment technology to support maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of commuters. This marks CKM’s entry and beginning into EMU maintenance business in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. It is our aim to eventually build a professional maintenance Headquarters here in KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur as we establish our professional presence throughout regions in Southeast Asia.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the adherence of Safety & Health policies
Conduct regular workplace audit and inspection to ensure all machinery, plant, appliance or process are safe order and in compliance requirements. Ensure Company to compliance with OSHA standards.
Investigate cases of incidents and accidents and submit a report to the management and the relevant authority. To compile accident report and statistic to DOSH to ensure corrective & preventive action is taken accordingly.
Take proactive measures to reduce hazards at work site and prevent possibility of future occurrences of accidents.
Continuously provide awareness on safety & health during in meetings, training and other communication sessions.
To develop, monitor and implement organization’s safety and health policy and procedures at work site.
Assist Safety and Health Committee to monitor contractors and ensure they comply with the Company Safety and Health Requirement.
Maintain and monitor PPE, First Aid boxes, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Sprinklers and all EOHS Equipment are in working order.
To give orientation and briefing on Safety for the new recruit.
Liaise with local authorities’ inspection and requirement BOMBA, DOSH, MOH, KLCH etc.
Any other duties as assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
– Possess a Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
– Attended the Safe and Health Officer Certification Program.
– Familiar with OHSMS standards.
– Able to converse in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia.
– At least 5 year relevant working experience. Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering –
– Environmental/Health/Safety.
– Computer literate
– Ability to work independently with high sense of commitment to ensure a healthy and safe working environment
– Based in Seremban
– Willing to travel (occationally)
