Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Prepare the Group’s consolidated financial statements and reports
– Prepare interim quarterly financial reports for announcement to the Exchange
– Manage the Group’s Finance and Accounting Department
– Ensure the Group’s requirements e.g. policies and processes are cascaded to subsidiaries
– Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, GST and other statutory requirements
– Liaise with related companies, related parties, internal & external auditors and tax agents
– Review and evaluate key internal controls to ensure adequacy and effectiveness
– Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
– Degree in Accounting/Finance or other relevant professional qualifications and must be a member of MIA
– Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar capacity
– Auditors or Managers specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting are encouraged to apply
– Knowledge of the preparation of consolidated financial statements and GST is an added advantage
– Self-motivated and possess initiative and a strong sense of responsibility
– Applicants should be Malaysia citizens or hold relevant residence status
