Sales and Marketing Manager for Global Media Company
Agence France-Presse (AFP) is one of the world’s leading news agencies and suppliers of multimedia content. We are looking for a Malaysia sales and marketing manager with the relevant experience and qualifications to be based in our Kuala Lumpur bureau. We will offer an attractive salary and commission package to the best candidate.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the AFP Bureau Chief in Kuala Lumpur and the Asia-Pacific Sales and Marketing Director in Hong Kong, you are to:
~ market and sell multimedia news content to print, broadcast, web and mobile customers in Malaysia
~ develop sales and marketing strategies and budgets
~ service existing clients to sustain and expand their accounts
~ explore and propose new business development opportunities
~ provide regular updates on your performance and prospecting activities to the Asia-Pacific Sales and Marketing Director
Requirements
~ at least 3 years of media or corporate sales experience
~ good understanding of the news media
~ strong sales prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
~ good command of written and spoken English
~ excellent communication and presentation skills
~ independent, performance-driven and ready to travel on a regular basis
