Restaurant Crew – Front of House
Job Description
(Based at Malaysia Nationwide)
The Role:
As our Front of House Crew Member, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, product knowledge, as well as ability to rotate to Back of House duties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
– Attend to the customers using the Nando’s customer care behaviours
– Good product and pricing knowledge, able to suggest menu to customers, consistently use suggestive selling and up-sell to the customers
– Consistently serve and check on the customers in a professional and friendly manner, offer assistance to customers without being asked
– Ensure customers are happy, informed and satisfied at all times
– Ensure all orders being execute, and serve to the customers in sequence
– Ensure all communication with the crew members is clear and understood
– Respond and assist fellow members in responding to customer’s needs
– Ensure telephone orders are taken accurately and courteously
– Assist in handling out the take-away orders to customers
– Complete, prepare and present the bill accurately and take payment from the customers
– Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant
– Ensure opening and closing duties are completed on time according to checklist
– Control all stock items, ensure wastage is kept to a minimum
– Ensure friendly and professional service at all times in a clean uniform
– Maintain all equipment to standard
Requirement:
– Hands on experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment
– Strong work ethic
– Positive attitude, enthusiastic & pleasant personality and cheerful smile
– Independent, self-initiative and able to work in a team environment
– Pay attention to detail, with organizing and planning skills
– Good customer service and communication skills
– Ability to handle pressure
– Must be literate in English and have good numeracy skills
