BEWG (M) Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited (BEWG), the largest water business company in China and No. 3 in the World, providing design, build, operate and transfer turnkey engineering services to the water industry in Malaysia market. In line with the company’s expansion, we are looking for experienced and dynamic professionals to work with us on exciting water and wastewater related projects.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:
– To participate in the inception, planning, design and implementation of projects to ensure corporate objectives are met.
– To participate (or to assist in leading consultants/Design Team) in identifying, developing and preparing technical proposals, conceptual and detailed designs.
– To provide technical supports in Business Development, Project Implementation and Procurement activities.
– To assist in organizing meetings, preparing meeting records and coordinating / implementing agreed actions.
– To liaise with clients, vendors, consultants, technology holders, internal departments/section and any other persons as needed to ensure the fulfillment of his / her duties.
– To participate in the design / adoption / development of new treatment process and enhancement of existing processes.
– To perform presentation, demonstration and familiarization of the new / enhanced process including the provision of training as needed.
– To assist in studying market / customers’ requirements (including feedback / complaints from internal or external sources) and searching or developing methods / processes / systems / technologies to meet expected requirements.
– To lead, guide and train subordinates to perform their duties effectively and independently.
– To undertake other jobs assigned by superiors as required.Requirements:
Education:
Recognized Degree or above in Environmental, Chemical, Engineering (C&S, M, E) or equivalent.
Experiences
– At least 6 years of working experience in Process Design for large scale process facilities, preferably in a senior position for the last 2 years.
– Good exposure to large water/wastewater project will be an added advantage.
– Pleasant personality, initiative, good communication skills, a team player and quick learner.
– Able to speak and write English and Bahasa Malayu; Mandarin will be an added advantage.
