Operations Manager

Job Description:

(Samalaju Properties Sdn Bhd, Bintulu)

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for preserving quality & upkeep of facilities & lodge services
* Overseeing the lodge’s catering, security, hygiene, janitorial & laundry services
* Managing international & local lodge residents
* Managing the health & safety aspects of the lodge
* Manage & monitor lodge personnel, contractors & residents
* Enforce lodge rules & regulations
* Handle conflicts & grievances
* Conduct investigations
* Ensure that necessary status reports are submitted to the Management
* Liaise with Government Officials & Local Authorities

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Hospitality Management / other related disciplines from a recognised university
* Applicants who does not meet the academic requirement but have significant relevant experience will also be considered
* Minimum five (5) years’ work experience within camp / lodge / accommodation management industry
* Proficient in written & spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
* Strong leadership & people management skills
* Excellent negotiation & time management skills
* Observant, meticulous & an effective problem solver
* On-site on a full time basis
