Full-Time Logistics Coordinator (Selangor)
Job Description
We are a FMCG Company with operations in S.E.A. and Middle East. To meet the growing needs of the Exports market, we are seeking for a candidate to assist the Supply Chain Manager with tracking the flow of materials and supplies. Candidate with accounting background will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
– Coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as procurement, transportation, and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost effective support to the customer.
– Coordinates with customers/suppliers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management.
– Comply with all applicable company directives, policies, and procedures.
– Handling of warehouse and inventory and material; including receiving and issuing of goods.
– Monitor and manage procurement processing.
– Plan and ensure optimal inventory levels to support sales activities.
– Verify packing lists and other documentation involving materials received from suppliers for delivery to manufacturers/customers at various sites.
– Familiar with Customs (Import/Export) Regulations, and compliance with all rules & regulations
– Ensure material managing and stock movement are up to date with or without using ERP system.
– update databases and other reporting tools to maintain visibility of shipment status.
Requirements:
– Possess a relevant diploma and ideally over 3 years experience in supply chain management or any related field.
– Preferably with accounting experience.
– Proactive capabilities, highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
– Strong people skills with a practical, logical and systematic management approach.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
– Willing to work overtime and weekend when required.
