Central Industrial Corporation Berhad (12186 K), a public listed Company in BURSA Malaysia is a manufacturer of self adhesive labels stocks and masking tapes with leading brands and strong market positions in the domestic and export markets.

Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
– Reports to the Managing Director.
– Drive achievement of plant KPIs including supply chain excellence, production efficiencies, technical innovation and quality as well as P & L.
– Drive organization changes vis-a-vis continuous improvement programs: TQM / Lean / Six Sigma, etc.
– Inculcate a culture of teamwork, adaptive learning and professional development for all levels of employees.
– Efficient utilization of plant’s assets, including maintenance, utilization and CAPEX proposal.
– Implement HSE programs and ensure adequate resources are available to develop programs that will foster the plant s goal of zero workplace accidents.
– Present plant operations during Board Meetings in support of the Managing Director.
Who we are looking for;
– Minimum 10 years of proven track record in successfully delivering results in mid-sized plant operations with headcounts of 150 to 200 staff.
– Applicants from the coating ( plastics / paper / metal) or corrugated carton box industries with strong working knowledge of paper & film substrates and adhesives are preferred.
– Degree in Chemical Engineering or related qualification preferably with an MBA degree.
– Knowledge and experience in budgeting, capital planning, capacity planning and productivity pipeline projects.
– Strong interpersonal and HANDS ON leadership skills and able to lead change positively.
– Possess drive to achieve results and take risks.
– Good communication skills in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
