Job Descriptions
– Assists in developing a risk-based annual audit plan covering financial, regulatory, compliance and operational activities.
– Oversees the overall quality of audit work, promoting continuous enhancements and improvement of Nnancial and operational controls, processes and system capabilities.
– Follows up with management on the action plans taken by management to address the all issues on timely basis.
– Contributes to the ongoing expansion initiatives of the Internal Audit in maintaining audit competency through planning and executing the ongoing professional development plan.
– Participates in the recruitment and hiring of staffs.
Desired Skills and Experience:
– Possess a Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance.
– Have at least 5 years of experience in all aspects of Money Services business or banking.
– Possess good knowledge of financial and Bank Negara Malaysia regulations.
– Strong written and oral communication skills to deliver high quality, actionable feedback and in a clear and compelling manner to the Bank Negara Malaysia and Government’s Bodies.
– Willing to travel to conduct on-branch audit.
