Job Description:
We are a group of companies involved primarily property development and the services industry. In line with our expansion, we invite suitably qualified candidates to fill in the following position:
(1 position – Kuala Lumpur / 1 position – Johor Bahru)
Responsibilities
– Maintain full set of accounts.
– Manages the preparation and maintenance of a variety of financial records and reports, including those related to the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgets and fixed assets
– Fulfill corporate taxation requirements and assist in the review of GST treatment and implication arising from various business transactions.
– Liaise with banker, auditor, tax agents and secretarial.
– To be involved and support company activities and events.
– Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required to provide management with timely financial report, analysis and information for decision-making.
Requirements:
– Professional accreditation with ACCA, ASCPA, CIMA, MICPA or a bachelor degree in accounting.
– Minimum 5 years’ working experience in related field.
– Must possess sound knowledge of the requirements of the Malaysian Companies Act, accounting standards and tax regulations.
– Good command of written & spoken B. Malaysia, English and Chinese.
– Computer literate (Microsoft Excel & Word and accounting software).
– Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
– Independent and able to work under pressure to meet timeline.
– Able to travel both within Malaysia and regionally when required.
– Priority to be given to those candidates who could start work immediately.
