Chief Mechanic
Job Description:
Manage and ensure the availability and utilization of plant, machinery and equipment including related manpower to meet project operation requirements
Responsible for the Planning, Production and Control of repair, overhaul and restoration projects as well as the Quality Control of completed jobs
Ability to prepare data on causes of abnormal failures
Supervise, mentor and enhance technical and ‘Hands-on’ skills of subordinates
Ensure a conducive, safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
Possess Advanced Certificate in Automotive Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum of 10 years experience in maintenance and report of heavy machinery and equipment with supervisory experience for those without related qualifications
Computer literate and proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
