Full-Time Associate – Research and Statistics (Federal Territory/Kuala Lumpur)
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
– Collect airlines’ operating, financial and other relevant statistics and integrate into AAPA databases
– Analyse relevant industry statistics and consolidated operating and financial data
– Assist in the reporting of management information, including the publication of the annual AAPA Statistical Report
– Closely monitor regional aviation developments, and ensure prompt dissemination of information to members
– Organise industry working group meetings or events, prepare meeting agendas, minutes and supporting documentation
– Support the Director Industry & Regulatory Affairs in responding to queries from member airlines and external entities, including the media and financial analysts, regarding AAPA statistics
– Carry out developmental projects or new initiatives of the Department as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
– Graduate degree in economics, statistics or a related field
– At least 3 years’ working experience in research and data analysis
– Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel and Access. Familiarity with spreadsheets and macros would be an advantage
– Results-oriented team player, with good interpersonal skills
– Able to work effectively in a multinational and multicultural environment
– Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
