Job Description

4 Positions – For Road Upgrading Project From Tg Karang To Sabak Bernam, Selangor
2 Positions – For Sewerage Project In Ipoh, Perak
Job Description:
– Deputize for Resident Engineer.
– Liaise with local Authorities.
– Assist the RE and QS team on contractual and construction matters.
– Coordinate forward planning.
– Generally supervise, review, monitor and report on progress.
– Coordinate and monitor activities of his team.
– Ensure prompt exchange of approvals.
– Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
– Assist the RE for issuing site instructions after due consultation with the Client.
– Supervise Contractor’s works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.
– Review Contractor’s Submissions.
– Provide all necessary on-site direction after due consultation with the RE.
– Supervise site inspection staff.
– Assist in reviewing the process of Variations and Claims.
– Check the measurement of completed works.
– Observe site safety practices.
– Advise on contractor’s resource allocation.
– Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings.
– Must comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
Qualification
– Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university
– Minimum 8 years experiences in construction supervision of infrastructure project such as road and bridge construction, sewerage, drainage, etc.
– Ability to work independently with little supervision and a good team player.
– Good oral and written communication skills in Malay and English.
– Commitment to safe work practices.
