Offshore Installation Manager (OIM-003)
Job Description
– The position provides day to day operations such as engineering, technical support and guidance for all aspects of the Mobile Offshore Production Units (MOPU)
– The OIM is to ensure the effective operational performance and integrity of the installation, its facilities and personnel
– Responsible for the Health, Safety and Welfare of all the personnel on the installation
– Experience in management, scheduling, inventory control and budgeting
– Offshore technical background including stability, fluid dynamics, and loading
– Experience in rig towing and movement operations
– Knowledge of ocean weather and sea state conditions affecting rig operations Knowledge of all regulations and laws as related to offshore drilling operations.
– Experience in marine environmental and hazardous material regulations
– Must have current USCG Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) Certification
– Must have 10-15 years’ of experience and at least 5 years’ of experience as an OIM
– Required to have operating management of offshore facilities including Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU), Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (MODU) and Submersible Units
