Supply Chain Manager
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
– Manage all the functions in the supply chain management.
– Develop and implement a supply chain strategy to deliver an effective, cost efficient and value adding service to support the business.
– Manage all vendor contracts to ensure commercial and legal risks are addressed through appropriate terms and conditions.
– Ensure procurement bid policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
– Manages the international freight forwarding and cargo movements for all equipment, materials and supplies from points of origins to the mine site including ocean, air and ground transportation.
– Formulates, plans analyses and maintains optimum demand and supply networks, systems and policies to ensure product availability in the right quantity, at the right location, at the right time and at lowest total cost.
– Lead the SCM team in developing people for continual growth and improvement.
– Champions continuous improvement and introduces new methodologies and tools to improve current practices.
– Produce SCM reporting at weekly management meetings at Site and Headquarters level.
Requirements:
– Diploma or Degree in SCM or related discipline – Procurement/Logistic/ Warehousing
– Professional designation in SCM an advantage
– 7 years of progressive related experience
– Working proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
– Preference would be given to those who have experience in Mining Industry.
