Kebabangan Petroleum Operating Company Sdn Bhd (“KPOC”) is a Joint Operating Company comprising PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, ConocoPhillips Sabah Gas Ltd and Shell Energy Asia Limited and acting as Operator for the Kebabangan Cluster Production Sharing Contract, offshore Sabah, Malaysia. Pursuant to KPOC’s mission to operate the Kebabangan Cluster fields and the KBB Northern Hub facility offshore Sabah and to develop local capabilities, KPOC wishes to invite experienced and suitably qualified candidates to join our organization.

OPERATIONS
Onshore Operations
Position Summary
The Senior Process Engineer will provide technical process engineering support for the day to day and longer term safe and efficient operation of the KBB facilities. The position will ensure that processes and procedures are in place to verify that the facilities are operating within required limits. Accountable for all process change decisions post start-up. Required to provide key process operating advice to Operations Management.
Requirements:
– Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred.
– Member of IChemE or equivalent institute.
– Registered Process Engineer
– Formal Process Safety training.
– 15 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in similar lead or supervisory position
– Demonstrable experience in Process Safety
