Continental Tyre AS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (CTAS), a fully owned subsidiary of the Continental Corporation, was founded in 2012 by acquiring the full share of the former joint-venture with SDC Tyres Sdn. Bhd. The Alor Setar plant manufactures tyres for passenger cars and light trucks as well as for two-wheelers for the ASEAN and local market. The brands manufactured locally include Continental, Viking, Barum and Dunlop. Besides the facility in Alor Setar, Continental owns a second tire plant in Malaysia in Petaling Jaya/Selangor.

QA Manager
Job Description
– Manage of all tasks to assure process capability and semi-and final product quality and prevent non-quality.
– Oversee the assurance of outgoing product quality
– Ensure QM inspection policies and procedures are followed throughout the plant.
– Assure the suspect tires from 100% inspection and reworked tires are judged per QMD.
– Assure over inspection quantities are adequate, results analyzed, communicated and appropriate action are taken.
– Oversee corrective actions in case policies and procedures are not implemented, futher analysis and actions (preventive & corrective) to assure the product Quality.
Job Requirements:
– Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic), Quality Management or equivalent.
– At least 5 -8 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
– Managerial capabilities, good communication and presentation skills.
– Good in analytical skills, statistic and SPC.
– Experienced in analyzing of various processes barriers and using problem solving methodology to drive improvements to support operations.
– Full time position available.
– Applicants must be willing to work in Alor Setar.
