QUALIFICATION & CHARACTERISTICS REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s of Pharmacy (Hons)
Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia
Minimum of 2 years related working experience in Hospital setting
Flexible, good communication skill, ability to maintain good relationship with all level staff, productive, ability to produce accurate and thorough quality of work and strong leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Licensed holder for the purchase of all drug
To ascertain that all drugs are stored and handled in accordance to specifications in hospital.
To manage dangerous and psychotropic drugs (purchase and distribution)
To provide professional advice to the pharmacy staff, prescribers, staff nurses and others (with regards to drugs such as: chemical name, indication, dosage, side effects, special precaution, contraindication, drug interaction, storage etc)
To supervise the pharmacy staffs on the preparation of extemporaneous products. To prepare the formula if necessary.
To do drug counselling to patient if required.
To adhere to all Acts, Laws, Rules and Regulation governing the pharmacy service at all time.
