Job Description
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the supervision, management, coordination and provision of quality patient care whilst providing teaching and mentoring of hospice staff nurses & allied health care workers.
Main Responsibilities:
– Provide leadership to the nursing staff members on the team.
– Ensure effective provision of Palliative Nursing Care to patients at home.
– Provide information and reports to the AsPaC Medical Director & Chairperson as and when required.
Requirements:
– Registered with Malaysian Nursing Board.
– Qualification in Palliative /Hospice care (Masters/Diploma or Certificate)
– Minimum ten years working experience in Palliative Care, of which three years should have been in a leadership role.
– Possess valid driving license and has own transport.
– Experience in Emergency and Oncology departments will be advantageous.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Must be able to work independently and lead a team of Palliative Care Professionals.
