An established company involved in oil palm plantation and palm oil milling invites suitable candidates for the following positions:-
General Manager / Senior Manager – Plantation
Job Description:
– Responsible in managing the overall operations of the all oil palm plantations and plan for future plantations development in the Group.
– Responsible for continuous improvement of best management practices and standards in a challenging environment.
– To oversee of all phases and aspects of estate operations, including human resource, annual budget, planting practices and procedures, systems and methods accounts, store, cost management and FFB production, nursery and replanting management.
– Responsible for all estates General and Administration Management including all necessary communications and reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Board of Directors.
– Responsible for monitoring cost control and to ensure high work standards are maintained to achieve management targets and company’s policies.
– Provide leadership, train and develop staff and uplift work standards and maintain high level of discipline.
Job Requirements:
– Minimum Degree in Estate Management/Agriculture or equivalent.
– At least 20 years working experience in oil palm plantation management of which 5 years in a senior management position.
– Possess strong analytical skills sound leadership qualities and ability to motivate and lead all the Managers within the Group.
– Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
– Well verse in palm oil plantation and palm oil mill operational practices.
