General Manager for a Small Boutique Hotel
Located in Heritage Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia, we are seeking the perfect GM to continue the success of our award winning property.
These Boutique Hotel has 12 bedrooms and a 50 seat Italian restaurant
The Hotel can cater to approximately 24 guests during peak seasons, and maintain annual occupancy rates over 80%. We have an exceptional industry reputation both in the local and international market.
The successful GM will oversee all facets of operation, from F&B, rooms division, front and back office. The ability to work alongside a motivated and dedicated local team is essential. You must also have the financial skills to monitor and report accurately the fiscal results of the property.
As the face of the Hotel, your dynamic and friendly personalities will come into play as you inject the hours and commitment necessary in such a diverse, hands on role. Our guests expect a high level of contact with the management team. This is not an office job!
We are offering a Salary and a financial incentive scheme.
For and Expat candidate this role offers financial advantages due to the low cost of leaving in Malaysia, you will have the potential save 70% of your remuneration.
You need to be Industry professionals with at least 5 years experience and a minimum of 2 years in senior managerial roles. F&B experience is a must and preference will be given to previous GM experience, but AGM’S looking at taking the next step will definitely be considered.
