Job Specification
– To participate in the structured training organised by the Works Package Contractor for the Offset Programme as per set Schedule of the Offset Agreement for KVMRT Line 1.
– To familiarise and understand the subcomponents/assemblies that makes up the various subsystems of the Electric Trains.
– To familiarise and understand the Maintenance aspects of the subcomponents/assemblies that makes up the various subsystems of the Electric Trains in order to undertake Operational & Maintenance activities for KVMRT Line 1.
– To have the ability to analytically interpret information from the diagnostic maintenance facilities available on the Electric Trains in order to fault find, rectify faults and failures during Operational & Maintenance activities.
– To maintain records during Maintenance Activities to ensure traceability of works for auditing purposes and produce Technical Reports when required.
– To familiarise oneself with the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
– To provide technical support and assistance to the Supervisors/ Engineers during the Installation, Testing & Commissioning and Revenue Service for the Electric Trains.
– To undertake Quality Control Inspections and report any such findings inclusive of remedial actions to the Supervisors/Engineers
– To monitor the performance of the Electric Train subsystems to ensure compliance with the stipulated Reliability Availability Maintainability Safety targets.
– To ensure safety on site is maintained at all times ensuring all non conformances to the safety management systems are reported to the Supervisor/Engineer.
– To provide safety feedback on processes for continual improvement of the safety management system.
Job Requirement
– Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent.
– Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in technical field, preferably in an Operation and Maintenance environment.
– Willing to travel or relocate to the Electric Trains Assembly Plant in Rasa, Selangor to undergo a minimum of 2-3 years training before being assigned to a permanent Job Designation and location in Klang Valley (Sungai Buloh or Kajang).
– Has a deep interest to work in a rail related environment particularly in an Operation and Maintenance environment set-up.
Starting salary shall commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualification.
