Country Sales Manager

Job Description

(Work Location: Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement strategic and operational sales plans for the territory
– Meet and exceed sales targets and profit contribution for the territory
– Analyze sales activities, sales projects and key performance indicators of the territory and take appropriate actions to steer the business to plan and beyond
– Maintain a consolidated territory database (CRM – currently Salesforce)
– Recommend and implement tactical plans and programs for the achievement of sales goals
– Develop and implement innovative distribution opportunities and improvements for the territory
– Liaise with business development and marketing staff to ensure maximum market segment penetration within the region
– Prepare periodic sales reports and annual budget as well as contribute to the development of mid-term financial plan
– Manage dealers and/or direct sales forces as prescribed in the relevant management handbooks
– Assist dealers and/or direct sales personnel in the preparation of tenders as required

Pre-requisites:

– Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably in a high-tech industry related to Surveying and Engineering
– Extensive knowledge of surveying and engineering markets within the geographical territory
– Strong business and sales/marketing knowledge as demonstrated by relevant experience
– In-depth knowledge and experience in implementing dealer and/or direct sales practices and policies
– Experience in preparing proposals and conducting formal presentations
– A minimum of 50% travelling is required
