Full-Time Application Support Analyst (Federal Territory/Kuala Lumpur)
Job Description
Principal Accountabilities:
– To support the development, quality testing, technical support, and distribution of the vast array of software applications and interfaces that are used by the company.
– Ensures a stable computing environment by performing the following duties: review and test configuration of application products (releases, product changes, service packs, and critical fixes prior to distribution).
– Support internal users/customers on complex technical issues (day end processing, client/server software installation, database administration).
– Respond to internal users/customers within timeframe dictated by the severity of the problem.
– Document and track (case histories, issues, and action steps).
– Develop program utilities to automate processes.
– Research technical processes using sources such as error logs, product technical documentation and internet, and identify solutions to resolve problems or improve efficiency.
Qualification and Experience:
– Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Management.
– Minimum 2 years relevant experience working as an application developer.
– Minimum 2 years experience in supporting applications that use database management systems like MS-SQL, Oracle and MYSQL.
– Minimum 2 years experience in web application and database access programming using .Net Framework, PHP, ASP, C#, C++, and SQL.
