Further growth in demand for our solutions means that we require an experienced 2D Application Engineer.
Ideally you will be degree qualified in Engineering, Process, Chemical, electrical or Instrument / Control Systems and possess 3 + years working experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) or PETCHEM environment for Onshore and Offshore projects with work experience in the areas of Process Instrumentation Diagrams responsibilities. Prior experience in Intergraph solutions would be very highly regarded; SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant P&ID and / or SmartPlant Electrical. Knowledge of Oracle and VB / .Net will assist you to quickly adapt to Customer needs / trouble shooting. A background in have experience on solutions such as ETAP, EDSA would also be advantageous.
Key responsibilities include:
– To provide application support to customer. (Application support in the form of telephone, email and onsite whenever applicable)
– Conducting training with customers
– Conducting pre-sales application presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers
– To assist Business Development and Sales personnel in developing technical proposals for prospects and customers
– To provide project consulting services for implementation of application software
The position is located in Kuala Lumpur and there will be regular regional travel required.
