Accounts Assistant / Executive
Job Description:
– Preferably familiar/have working experience using SQL Accounting System.
– Preparing full set of accounts including preparing invoices, credit notes, journal entries, payments and journal entries.
– Responsible for bank reconciliations, monthly accounts closing and management reports.
– Generate monthly statement of accounts to customers
– Handling calls regarding account related enquiries
– Ensure completeness of documentation and accuracy
– Liaise with external auditors and company secretary
– Making payments online using RHB Reflex system
– Assisting in payroll whenever necessary (using Quickpay)
Requirements:
– Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Accounting (LCCI or equivalent), preferably with Professional Qualification
– Able to demonstrate experience in accounting background, bookkeeping and payroll.
– Computer literate, good knowledge in MS Word and MS Excel.
– Familiar with SQL Accounting system
– Relevant knowledge in GST implementation, GST regulation and payment process will be an added advantage
– Have good interpersonal skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision
